The Great Australian Petfood Company recognizes that the Greyhound and Harness Racing Regulatory Authority, according to its 1st May 2008 press release, will not be performing an inquiry when a greyhound returns a positive swab to Theobromine, specifically from a chocolate / cocoa based product as determined by the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory.
All Winning Edge products will continue to be manufactured to our exacting standards and will not contain Theobromine (at a limit of detection of 1ppm) or Caffeine (at a limit of detection of 0.5ppm) as determined by independent laboratory analysis.

Further analyses of the Winning Edge Platinum Products have been conducted by two independent laboratories.
All Winning Edge Platinum samples submitted for analysis have been assayed as NOT containing Theobromine (at a Limit of Detection of 1ppm) or Caffeine (at a LOD of 0.5ppm)
These analyses performed for the Great Australian Petfood Company show conclusively that Winning Edge Kibble, Winning Edge Platinum and Winning EdgeBaked Biscuits do NOT contain Theobromine or Caffeine above the levels tested.
The Great Australian Petfood Company will continue to supply Winning Edge quality products to the Australian greyhound market.

The Greyhound and Harness Racing Regulatory Authority has conducted routine swab analysis for Caffeine and Theobromine in greyhounds and has identified that positive tests for both Caffeine and Theobromine have been recorded.
Winning Edge Kibble and Winning Edge Baked Biscuits have been assayed as not containing either Caffeine or Theobromine.
Winning Edge Platinum has been assayed as not containing Caffeine. Winning Edge Platinum has been assayed as a product which may contain Theobromine, with product analysis continuing to be conducted.
As the Great Australian Petfood Company is committed to supplying quality greyhound products to the Australian greyhound market, any customer who is concerned about Winning Edge Platinum product purchased prior to 1st March 2008, are able to exchange this product at their retailer for fresh Winning Edge Platinum.
